The Cheeseburger Rally

“They cannot accuse us of bitchery!” She stands tall and proud before the crude wooden podium. A crowd gathers as they always do. There are no children. School isn’t out yet. “So let it be known...” A slice of tomato narrowly misses her cheek. "...That actions like these shall not be tolerated." The smell of grease is pungent. A siren sounds in the distance. It’s for her. She knows this. Two men in white with a jacket walk towards her. The restaurant should have just given her that cheeseburger.
